A Word Fitly Spoken
by Paul Leaman

Proverbs 25:11
A word fitly spoken in like apples
of gold in pictures of silver.

I never write a poem
just for the praise of men
but when someone is blessed
I always say amen.

For Lord I know that You
are the one who works in a heart
and I thank You O my Father
for that blessing You do impart.

Gold and silver are precious
and so a kind work from a friend.
If you took time to praise,
then, kudos to you I extend.
