A Dream
by Sheila Dickson

The sun is hot,
Upon my skin.
The sea laps all around.
The sand is warm
It's a lovely day
My body is lovely and brown.

I close my eyes
I listen to the sounds
Of the sea, as it comes to the shore.
I drift away
With the beautiful day
To a place were trouble's no more.

There is peace and quiet,
There is warmth and sun.
There is beauty in all i can see.
Oh, how i wish that this was all real.
How I wish this is how it could be.
