Strange, sometimes I feel sorry for Satan,
Now hold on and hear me through.
I know he has caused the fall of men,
And now all sin as they do.
I know he was a great servant of God
And a wondrous being in heaven.
I know he wanted to be like God
And rebelled against the God of heaven.
Think, Satan knows much theology,
He knows God's salvation plan.
Ah, but from that plan, He is excluded,
For salvation is only for man.
What, feel sorry for Satan?
No, for he chose to turn against God.
But, praise God, I am included,
Though rebellious, I'm washed in the blood.
Yes, though I am a sinner by nature,
I am saved from the horrors of hell.
Ah, but not so for old Satan,
For hell, is precisely where he will dwell.
But let me ask you my brother,
Have you rebelled against your God?
Have you turned your back on Him?
Running over His grace roughshod?
You're the one I feel sorry for,
For you are under Satan's control,
He can't do a thing against God
So he is out to damn your soul!!
