Trees, Trees
by Paul Leaman

The Apple tree bears fruit,
The Willow dost sway.
The Maple gives sweetness
On a cold Fall day.

The Black Oak gives shade
By the side of the road.
The Blue Spruce is stately,
With it's snow covered load.

The Beech spread their branches
Providing homes, a place to rest.
The Red Oak gives its acorns
To squirrels, those wily pest.

Trees provide a water shed
And oxygen, that fills the air.
A tree once held my Savior high,
Where He died, my sins to bear.
