A Splash Of Sunlight
by Paul Leaman

The sun light seemed to splash
Across the shining sea.
My eyes were drawn to it,
And it seemed to beckon me.

Ah, that beauty so very brilliant
That sparkled and moved with delight,
The sun that bowed in the distant
Was hastening on the night.

The bright yellow glow was blinding
As it turned orange, then red.
My eyes were transfixed upon it,
As I thought how my Savior had bled.

Twas He that made all before me,
The sun, the sky, the sea.
Yet He came to earth to die,
Yes, He came to die for me!
