My Mum
by Sheila Dickson

I sat there feeling sadness,
My life had been torn apart.
I always thought she'd be there,
That we would never be apart.
My Mum has gone and left me
She's with God and his Angels, up above.

I know we will be together again, one day.
I just don't know when it will be.
I will wait until God is ready
To re-unite my Dad, my Mum and me.

Until that day approaches,
I will carry on with prayer.
I pray Mum will always be with me
To watch over me with love and care.
