What Can You Take To Heaven?
by Paul Leaman

You canít take your treasure
And all that money can buy.
You canít take houses and cars
Or hoarded wealth, when you die.

What can you take to Heaven,
That will last forevermore?
What can you take with you,
When you reach that golden shore?

The answer, Iím sure youíve thought of
For it is even in your heart.
Of the first, youíll take with you
Is the love within your heart!

Yes, the love you have for Jesus
For saving your vile soul,
That love will endure forever
For the one who made you whole.

The second, is His great joy
He gave when you believed.
That wonderful fruit of the Spirit
As you yielded and received.

Next, would be your longing
To know God, more and more.
To sit at His feet forever,
Praising, the God, whom you adore.

And yes, you can take others
To be with you by-and-by.
Oh tell them now of Jesus
Before this life doth pass you by.
