Your Robe Jesus
by Tracy

Chuck me your robe and sandals
for I will gladly wear.

your crucifixion
as I didn't see,
For I cannot bear.

on the cross,
there you was,
paying the price with your blood.

whilst this happened
Dices were thrown.
chucked about,
to win The Robe...

They didn't understand
all this had meant
as you said Father forgive them...

The clouds darkened
the light had gone
for this is finished

you looked up.
as you committed God your spirit.

The Thunder came about
the Earth shook
someone knelt and said
surely this is the son of God.

agony and pain for the Christians feel
for they witness this.

but nothing changes when Easter comes,
we remember you with
the Holy Communion...

you got placed in a grave
you rose on the third day
the prophecy is fulfilled.

in my faith...I see you Lord
