A Christmas Celebration
by Jim Lake

From the giving of the presents
To the ringing of a bell
From the singing of a carol
To the wishing others well

As we think in deep reflection
Of the king who came to earth
Bringing with Him great salvation
From the moment of His birth

He is God and we can know Him
As we humbly seek His face
We can ask Him for forgiveness
And salvation by His grace

He will save us and He'll keep us
And He'll make our future bright
That is how it is with Jesus
He turns darkness into light

So we celebrate His coming
We're so thankful that He came
He brings life and hope to everyone
Who calls upon His Name

That name that changes anyone
And sets the captive free
It's Christmas and it's Jesus
He's the answer - He's the key!

AND THE ANGEL SAID UNTO HER,
FEAR NOT, MARY: FOR THOU HAST FOUND FAVOR WITH GOD.
AND, BEHOLD, THOU SHALT CONCEIVE IN THY WOMB,
AND BRING FORTH A SON,
AND SHALT CALL HIS NAME JESUS.
LUKE 1:30,31
