Reflections
by Paul Leaman

Well another dreary, dreary day,
I just feel like sleeping the day away;
The sky is overcast and gloomy,
This little house doesn't feel so roomy.

So I sit here in a pensive mood,
Trying not to fret or brood;
Thinking only of myself,
Forgetting about anyone else.

Them my wife walked in the room,
And I soon forgot about my gloom;
She had the paper in her hand,
Showing me what she was reading, and-

I must say,my mood was modified,
The article - a boy born without eyes;
Ah, born with no eyeballs at all,
I thought - you're really something Paul.

What if you had real problems in life,
Like that little boy, who has no sight;
What worse, than to be blind from birth?
Ah, living spiritually blind on earth!

Oh yes, that would be worse by far,
Standing at God's judgment bar;
Condemned for everything you've done,
With no righteousness of your own, no none!

Lost for ever, cast to Hell!
And there forever you will dwell!!
Ah, but if you turn to Jesus today,
Repenting and believing - you'll be OK!
