When Autumn Comes
by Paul Leaman

When Autumn comes and the sky is clear,
It's always a blessing this time of the year;
With the leaves falling, the smell in the air,
it's nice to sit back in my old easy chair.

The weather turnes cold, humidity gone,
the sun as it shines in early morning dawn;
the leaves all aglow in color array,
red, brown and yellow, Oh what a day.

Our Father made all this beauty so grand,
He makes it each year with His skillful hand;
Oh what delight and joy to my heart,
as I look out my window beholding His art.

If your life is drab and a little gray,
then look out your window at His display;
Or if you have fallen to a life of sin,
reach out this Fall, and let Him come in.

God will tranform you and give you new life,
a home in heaven and dress you in white;
With His skillful hand, He'll make you anew,
So look out your window - enjoy the view.
