That night I had to leave you
As my life on earth was through
God picked me up and held me
And he said to me, I welcome you

He said he was glad to have me back again
And I was dearly missed while I was gone
He assured me not to worry about my Family
As they will join and be with me later on

As you are walking down the street
And you have me on your mind
I'll be walking in your foot steps
Only just a half a step behind

Just know that I am contended
And my life was so worthwhile
Just knowing that as I passed along the way
I made someone smile which always made my day
