Reflectors
by Joan Clifton Costner

Placid waters reflect the scene
That surrounds the lakeside view;
The face of some wild animal,
The face of me or you.

The mirror brings the image of
The room that holds itís frame.
The child, too, is reflection of
His home ~ his familyís name.

The crystal chandelier reflects
The colors of the room.
We place reflectors on the road,
Where danger hides in gloom.

I think we are reflectors
Of many things in life
And I pray yours and mine may be
True reflections ... of Christ!
