Help to Go On
by Paul Leaman

John Owens, now at home above,
With our dear Saviour, whom we love;
John served the Lord, many years,
Helping the lost, to turn from their fears.

John and Barbara were missionaries you see,
Serving the Lord in Papua New Guinea;
There, the whole family, served the Lord well,
But now John is gone, up in Heaven to dwell.

I grieve not for John, for he is happy I know,
In that glorious city, shining forth, all aglow;
I grieve now for Barbara, her soul mate is gone,
May God give her grace and help her to go on.
