Teenagers, Today
by Sarah Berthelson

Teenagers, today, are great as yesterday.
We blame them for things they do not do.
Seems they are looking to me and to you
For guidance and counsel, you see.
Godly examples we should be.

It is the adults that have messed them up.
Teenagers are responsible and smart,
Loving and caring; with a very good heart.
They follow in the steps that they see.
Why can't adults be the example for thee?

Instead, we preach, we yell and tell
That they will one day be jailed
When, in reality, the adults have bailed.
The duty of leader we have often failed.
Therefore, the teenagers, of today, prevail.
