There is an angel looking after me
She's there to help ease my misery
She sets on my shoulder
To help me get over life's boulders
She was sent from Heaven above
To show me God's love
She does what she can
To keep me out of Satan's hands
She whispers in my ear
Now don't you fear
God gave me these wings
To shield you from many things
I'll wrap them around your arms
To keep you away from harm
So don't you fear
I'll always be near
When God calls for you one night
I'll guide you, to God's eternal light
