Could God Cease to Care?
by Paul Leaman

I saw an angel in the air
who said to me, in my despair,
Why so troubled and casted down?
For on thy face is such a frown.

Could your great God cease to care?
Ah my child, He has heard thy prayer.
He will guide through waters deep,
Dry thine eyes, and do not weep.

For He has a care concerning thee,
and to His word true always be.
He has said I'll forsake thee never,
and guide and love thee, yes forever.
