My Warm Home
by Paul Leaman

The snow was soft and fluffy
as it floated to the ground.
The wind would lift and blow it
and carry it all around.

It drifted across the roadway
and covered the valley floor,
To the top of the fence post
and halfway up the door.

As I looked out the window
of my warm cottage home.
I was glad to be inside,
not homeless and alone.

To be out in this weather
is more then I could bear.
Thank you Lord for my warm home
and for all the blessings there.
