God's Great Gift
by Paul Leaman

What can I say
On this Christmas day,
That could help you to see
The joy within me.

To think, my great God
Left all glory above
And came to a stall
He, the Saviour of all.

Born lowly in life
In a world of strife,
Humble from birth
Yet He came to earth.

He became a man
All in God's great plan,
To save a fallen race
Living in sin and disgrace.

Thank you for Thy great gift
Without which, we would drift.
Yes, drift into eternal doom
But now, hope beyond the tomb.
